Sanele Mkhize, MD of Exodec 384, took delivery of three new Mercedes trucks valued at R11.6 million thanks to a financing agreement with the Ithala Development Finance Corporation (IDFC) facilitated by an enterprise and supplier development (ESD) MOU between Sappi Southern Africa and the IDFC.
Since signing the MOU in 2022, four transactions amounting to R45.9 million, resulting in 157 direct jobs, have been concluded between the IDFC and companies participating in Sappi’s ESD programme.
