The organisers and several exhibitors celebrated 50 years of dedicated service to the sector, reaffirming the biennial trade fair’s global position as the leading exhibition for the woodworking and wood processing sectors. This year, Chinese and Taiwanese manufacturers significantly expanded their Ligna footprints, offering machines equipped with technologies that match or are similar to the European machines.
However, the Italian and German “super groups” dominated the show.
Their stands were magnificent. Moving robots wielding boards and tools, interactive and immersive displays, moving materials, working machines and stand tours drew the crowds.
