The technical director of LevasFlor, Lukas Schiebe, presented hybrid timber construction with a difference at the Wood Conference held in Cape Town in February. The Carbon Binding House comprises conventional timber frame elements and over 70% recycled wood blocks and offcuts recovered from sawmill waste.
