Dr Benice Sivparsad is leaving the Institute for Commercial Forestry Research (ICFR) at the end of the year to join the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s (UKZN) School of Agriculture, Earth, and Environmental Sciences.
Benice Sivparsad, a Senior Scientist, joined the ICFR in September 2016 and has been instrumental in growing the Forest Protection Programme. The forest protection research provides recommendations based on integrated pest management principles that can be applied to maintain plantations in a healthy and productive condition.
