Design Joburg Collective (#DJC21), is here and being held in the Kramerville Design District, 3 – 5 June 2021. It’s an answer to calls from SA’s décor and design industry, and their fans, for a showcase of what’s new and happening in this sector.

#DJC21 is free-to-attend and totally Covid-compliant. This showcase will be a mix of both outdoor and indoor attractions, using Kramerville’s various galleries, showrooms, venues and outdoor spaces. Visitors will be able to explore at their leisure, (a similar experience to London’s Clerkenwell Design Week and Paris’ Deco Off), giving it a truly international feel.

Along with the already dense décor and design offering of the district, visitors can also enjoy a variety of pop-ups in several designated sites – as well as attend complimentary (socially-distanced) scheduled talks.

#DJC21 will include art installations, buskers, public displays and street spectacles, so visitors are encouraged to don their ‘takkies’, take to the streets, and soak up all that the design community has to offer.
